The time signature in this song is interesting as it is feels a bit like 6/8 in the chorus because of the half time feel, but in the verse it feels like 6/4. In the end, it doesn’t matter, it sounds good. Pretty simple song to play. The guitar is tuned in Drop D. It is the same riff in the intro and Verse, but in the latter it is palm muted. The Chorus is simply strummed.

This songs has powerful riffs and interesting guitar effects, very typical of Tom Morello the guitar player for the band. The tuning is Drop D. It is played with lots of overdrive. The solo is very simple, but you need to have a kill switch on your guitar and an effect called Step, it is a Boss pedal.
