This is a very iconic drum song. Everybody knows the fill that makes the song what it is. This song is challenging because of the syncopated rhythms played, but also because Phil Collins had a huge drum kit with a lot of different toms, so it is hard to reproduce the sound of the song if you have a small drum kit. You’ll need to be creative. I saw someone on youtube turn off the snares and used the snare drum to play the high tom at the beginning of the song, then turns them on for the last half of the song.

This is a fun song to play on the drums. There is a lot of bass drum work. There aren’t too many parts in the song and the fills stay the same throughout the song, so once you’re comfortable with the basic beats for the verse, chorus and solos it shouldn’t be too hard.

This song has a weird feel to it, because it is in 6/4 time signature. The beat is very similar throughout the song, so once you get it, it shouldn’t be too difficult. Watch out for the Chorus, it has a half time feel to it.
