Made an America - Fever 333

The tuning for this song is Drop Db, so all your strings are tunes half a tone lower than standard and your 6th string is a Db. Watch out for the rhythm in this song and the fast picking in the 2nd verse. During that second repeat of the 2nd verse there is another guitar that plays Eb power chords on the 3rd string.

High and Dry - Radiohead

This song is quite fun to play, because it sounds simple, but it’s intricate in its on way. The octave chords G#8, F#8 and E8 are played on the A string with the open B string ringing. During the verse, there are some variations of the E chord with an Esus4 (add6), but it is not essential to the song.

Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead

This song is interesting to me, because the chorus is quieter than the verse, which is very unusual in a song, but it works great in this one. Watch out for the D.C which will take you back to the beginning of the song with the repeats.

All is Found (Frozen 2) - Kacey Musgraves

This song is a very interesting fingerpicking style. The finger pattern changes throughout the song, sometimes from one measure to another, so pay careful attention to that. Also, use the chords written above the measures to help you get the right chord shape. In the actual song, there is another guitar that strums the chords and plays some hammer ons.

Sound of Winter - Bush

This is a fun song to play with someone else, because there are two clearly audible guitar parts. Below is the lead sheet for the song and the lead guitar parts including the solo. Pay attention to the rhythm of the song, because the drums are playing syncopated rhythms that might throw you off. In the lead guitar part, A.H are artificial harmonics with the right hand.

Closing Time - Semisonic

This song is quite interesting to play. It starts simple, but once you get to the bridge, the octaves will make you move your fingers a lot. What is nice with that part it that the guitar player has to go back to the regular chords in between playing the lead part in octaves. The X in the chorus means that you play muted strings. Watch out for the measure of 6/4 and the repeat signs. Chords with a slash like D5/A are power chords played on the A string, but your finger bars also the E string which gives you a reverse power chord.
